CAA Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards - Jan. 13

RICHMOND, Va. (January 13, 2026) – William & Mary junior Aiden Bond was selected as the CAA Men’s Swimmer of the Week, while William & Mary junior Lauren Tucker received Women’s Swimmer of the Week accolades. Stony Brook sophomore Natalia Chornomidza was named the Women’s Diver of the Week.
CAA Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Aiden Bond, Jr., William & Mary (McLean, Va.)
Bond recorded a pair of individual victories and a relay win to lead William & Mary over Old Dominion. The junior broke a W&M dual meet record in taking the 100 free in a time of 43.85 and captured the 50 free in a time of 19.96. He was also part of a first-place 400 free relay team. Bond owns the CAA’s fastest times in the 50 and 100 free this season.
CAA Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Lauren Tucker, Jr., William & Mary (Bethesda, Md.)
Tucker broke a pair of William & Mary dual meet records in winning both of her events as the Tribe defeated Old Dominion, East Carolina and Richmond. The junior claimed the 1,000 free in a time of 10:00.02, which is the fastest in the CAA this season and the second-fastest in program history. She also took the 500 free in a time of 4:53.82, which ranks fourth in the conference in 2025-26.
CAA Women’s Diver of the Week
Natalia Chornomidza, So., Stony Brook (Lindenhurst, N.Y.)
Chornomidza climbed the podium twice in Stony Brook’s 160-66 team victory over Monmouth. The sophomore captured 3-meter diving competition with a score of 282.15 and placed second in the 1-meter event with a score of 264.15.
