CAA Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards - Jan. 6

RICHMOND, Va. (January 6, 2026) – Towson senior Sean Colson was chosen as the CAA Men’s Swimmer of the Week, while William & Mary junior Julie Addison and Towson junior Addie Scott shared Women’s Swimmer of the Week accolades. Weekly diving awards went to Towson seniors Aidan Clark and Shannon Parrau.
CAA Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Sean Colson, Sr., Towson (Silver Spring, Md.)
Colson posted three first-place finishes in Towson’s dual meet with George Mason, recording victories in the 100 back (48.42), 200 back (1:44.93) and the 200 medley relay. In the Tigers’ meet against Navy, he was second in the 100 back (51.17) and fourth in the 100 fly (51.83).
CAA Women’s Co-Swimmer of the Week
Julie Addison, Jr., William & Mary (Crozet, Va.)
Addison claimed two individual events and a relay in William & Mary’s team dual meet victory over George Washington. The junior finished first in both the 100 back (54.51) and 200 back (1:59.51) and added a win in the 200 medley relay with a 25.40 split in the 50 back.
CAA Women’s Co-Swimmer of the Week
Addie Scott, Jr., Towson (Nottingham, Pa.)
Scott recorded four individual victories and was part of three winning relay teams in Towson’s dual meets with James Madison and George Mason. Against JMU, the junior placed first in the 100 free (52.05) and 200 free (1:51.16) and added a victory in the 200 free relay. Versus Mason, Scott took the top spot in the 200 free (1:50.28) and 200 back (2:02.19) and added wins in the 400 free and 200 medley relays.
CAA Men’s Diver of the Week
Aidan Clark, Sr., Towson (Ellicott City, Md.)
Clark captured two of his four events during competitions against George Mason and Navy. He placed first on the 1-meter board (303.45) and fourth on the 3-meter board (266.93) against Mason. In a meet versus Navy, Clark claimed the top spot in the 1-meter event (296.33) and took second in the 3-meter event (260.18).
CAA Women’s Diver of the Week
Shannon Parrau, Sr., Towson (Germantown, Md.)
Parrau reached the podium in all four events in Towson’s dual meets against George Mason and James Madison. The senior swept both boards versus Mason, compiling a score of 285.38 in the 1-meter event and 311.25 in the 3-meter event. Against JMU, Parrau took second on the 3-meter board (315.38) and third on the 1-meter board (278.48).
