In the midst of UAlbany's run to the semifinals of the FCS playoffs in 2023, UAlbany running back suffered a serious knee injury in practice. After surgery and nearly two years of rehabilitation, Koch has thrived in his senior season under new head coach Tom Perkovich and ranks among the top rushers in the CAA.
