CAA Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards - Oct. 6

RICHMOND, Va. (October 6, 2026) –Towson senior Addie Scott and William & Mary senior Flynn Truskett shared CAA women’s swimming weekly honors, while William & Mary senior Aiden Bond was honored as the men’s Swimmer of the Week. Towson junior Lara Booth Alam was named women’s Diver of the Week.
CO-WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Addie Scott, Towson
Senior | Nottingham, Pa.
Scott showed her versatility by winning five different individual events over two days in Towson’s dual meets against Georgetown and La Salle. Against Georgetown, the senior finished first in the 200 free (1:50.13) and 200 back (2:01.77). The next day against La Salle, she claimed the top spot in the 50 free (24.56), 100 free (52.48) and 1000 free (10:23.16) while adding a win in the 400 free relay.
CO-WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Flynn Truskett, William & Mary
Senior | Glen Mills, Pa.
Truskett contributed an individual victory and two relay wins to lead William & Mary past George Washington. The senior claimed the 50 free in a time of 23.24 that is the fastest in the CAA this season, and added a second-place effort in the 100 free (51.02). She was also a member of the Tribe’s 400 free relay team that set a pool record (3:21.91) and anchored the first-place 200 medley relay team.
MEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Aiden Bond, William & Mary
Senior | McLean, Va.
Bond recorded a pair of individual victories in William & Mary’s meet with George Washington last Saturday. The senior captured the 50 free in a time of 20.16 and took first place in the 100 free with a time of 44.48. Both times were the fastest in the CAA this season. He also was a member of the Tribe’s second place teams in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.
WOMEN’S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Lara Booth Alam, Towson
Junior | Ronkonkoma, N.Y.
Booth Alam reached the podium in all four of her events in Towson’s meets against Georgetown and La Salle. Against Georgetown, the junior finished first on the 1-meter board (231.98) and 3-meter board (244.28). Against La Salle, she was third in the 1-meter competition (244.65) and second in the 3-meter event (256.05).
News and Notes: Towson’s men’s and women’s teams swept Georgetown and La Salle in back-to-back days. For the men,
Isak Brkanovic won three individual events and four relays over the two days, taking the 50 free twice with a top time of 20.75 vs. GU and claiming the 100 free (46.45) at La Salle.
Jed Garner won the 100 breast and
Harry Herrera won the 200 breast both days. On the women’s side,
Masha Netrebko swept the 200 fly in both meets and
Kaitlyn Besner swept the 500 free…Along with Truskett’s effort, William & Mary saw pool records set by
Haley Lehman in the 200 free (1:49.41),
Grace McCardle in the 100 back (53.69) and
Kaitlyn Conover-Emmert in the 200 breast (2:15.20). Lehman also won the 500 free. For the men, Kyle Spaman won the 100 breast (55.79)…Northeastern opened the season against Vermont and saw
Havana Layton win the 50 free (24.34) and 100 free (52.85).
May Bradburn claimed the 50 fly (25.73) and
Alex Fuller took the 100 fly (56.79).
