RICHMOND, Va. – The field is set for the 2026 CAA Women’s Soccer Championship as UNCW (11-0-7, 6-0-3 CAA) and Towson (9-5-3, 6-2-1 CAA) finished at the top of their respective divisions to earn semifinal hosting rights in the postseason slate.

The CAA Women’s Soccer Championship is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Nov. 5, taking place on the campuses of Elon (9-3-5, 4-2-3 CAA) and Hofstra (6-6-5, 5-1-3 CAA), before heading to UNCW and Towson for the semifinals on Sunday, Nov. 8. The highest remaining seed with the top point total will host the title game on either Saturday, Nov. 14 or Sunday, Nov. 15. All five postseason contests will be streamed live on FloCollege.

UNCW claimed its second straight South Division title and reached 21 points after its 2-1 victory over Campbell. The Seahawks became the first CAA soccer program in league history to finish the regular season with an unbeaten overall record at 11-0-7. Furthermore, UNCW became just the second women’s soccer program to produce back-to-back unbeaten records in league play with a 6-0-3 mark, joining the 1994 and 1995 William & Mary teams. The Seahawks will ride their NCAA Division I-best 28-match unbeaten streak into the postseason slate, hosting the semifinal matchup from UNCW Soccer Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m.

Elon clinched the No. 2 seed in the South prior to Sunday’s contest and closed the regular season with a 0-0 draw against Charleston to finish with 15 points. William & Mary (4-7-5, 3-3-3 CAA) edged out Campbell (6-8-4, 3-4-2 CAA) for the final spot in the field, needing a 1-1 draw with Hampton to break the points tie with the Camels. The second-seeded Phoenix will take on the third-seeded Tribe at 12 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 5, at Rudd Field.

Towson secured the North Division title and the No. 1 seed after earning a 1-1 draw against Drexel on Sunday. The Tigers earned their first No. 1 seed in the CAA Women’s Soccer Championship since the 2023 campaign after logging 19 points in league play. Towson will host the CAA Semifinal from Tiger Field on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m.

Sunday’s showdown between Hofstra and Stony Brook (7-4-5, 4-4-1 CAA) decided who would play host in Thursday’s eventual rematch between the two programs. The Pride needed a brace from Maggie Peterson to earn a 3-0 victory and secure the No. 2 seed.
