CAA Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards – Feb. 16, 2026

RICHMOND, Va. – Hofstra’s Nikki Mennella and Campbell’s Hailey Kohlmann picked CAA Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, while fellow Camel Adria Welsh and William & Mary’s Mila Millhouse split Rookie of the Week recognition on Monday.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Nikki Mennella, Hofstra
Redshirt Junior | Attacker | Smithtown, N.Y.
Mennella was outstanding for the Pride as she led the way in the team's two wins this week. The redshirt junior totaled 13 points on 10 goals and three assists in the wins over Manhattan and Quinnipiac, while also adding nine draw controls and three ground balls. On Wednesday, in her home debut against the Jaspers, the Pride’s leading attacker unloaded six goals and two assists in the 19-5 win over Manhattan. She also posted a game-high seven draw controls and two ground balls. The Smithtown, N.Y., product tallied five points on four goals and an assist, while also chipping in with two draw controls and a ground ball in a 12-7 road win over the Bobcats. With a pair of hat tricks, Mennella has notched 23 in her career.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Hailey Kohlmann, Campbell
Fifth Year | Defender | Crofton, Md.
Kohlmann helped the Camels to a 2-0 week with wins over Gardner-Webb and High Point. She recorded five caused turnovers and five ground balls against Gardner-Webb and converted her only shot of the day into a goal for her first of the season. The fifth-year defender played a clean game as well, committing just one foul in the winning effort. Kohlmann followed up with an assist, four ground balls and two caused turnovers to help the Camels convert the come-from-behind win against its former conference rival, High Point.
 
Co-Rookie of the Week
Adria Welsh, Campbell
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Ellicott City, Md.
Welsh went 2-0 this week, recording wins over Gardner-Webb and High Point. On Wednesday, Welsh allowed just three goals and recorded seven saves in the first three quarters against Gardner-Webb. She also notched one ground ball and caused one turnover. Against the Panthers, the freshman secured nine saves and five ground balls. She held the Panthers to just four goals in the second half, allowing the Camels to complete the come-from-behind win. Welsh also stopped a pair of free-position attempts in the fourth quarter alone.
 
Co-Rookie of the Week
Mila Millhouse, William & Mary
Freshman | Attacker | North Haven, Conn.
Millhouse helped the Tribe to a 1-1 week after posting a team-high eight points, scoring six goals on 50.0% efficiency and dishing out two assists. The freshman attacker also recorded two ground balls and a caused turnover. Millhouse tallied a hat trick and an assist in her collegiate debut at George Washington. She posted the same line of three goals and a helper to go with two ground balls and a caused turnover in the Tribe’s 20-5 win against Longwood.
