CAA Men's And Women's Tennis Weekly Awards - Feb. 17

RICHMOND, Va. (February 17, 2026) – William & Mary junior Oliver Hague and Charleston junior Jakub Solarski shared CAA Men’s Tennis Player of the Week honors, while Elon sophomore Cornelia Kack and Drexel grad student Lorie Lemongo were named CAA Women’s Tennis Co-Players of the Week. Receiving Men’s Doubles Team of the Week was Monmouth’s Alex Martinez Sanz and Sasha Vysochenko, while Women’s Doubles Team of the Week went to Towson’s Chandre Boshoff and Kiersten Tambe.
CAA Men’s Tennis Co-Player of the Week
Oliver Hague, Jr., William & Mary (Manchester, England)
Hague posted a 3-0 record at No. 2 singles last week, including a pair of three-set victories. The junior opened with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over Longwood’s Daniel Borisov as W&M captured the match, 6-1. He followed with a 6-1, 6-4 triumph over Furman’s Theophile Joly and capped the week by rallying past Coastal Carolina’s Jack Dixon, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2.
CAA Men’s Tennis Co-Player of the Week
Jakub Solarski, Jr., Charleston (Lodz, Poland)
Solarski went unbeaten in singles and doubles in Charleston’s two matches last week. The junior accounted for both CofC points against Coastal Carolina, defeating Jack Dixon, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles, and teaming with Eddie Vo for a 7-6 (7) win at No. 1 doubles to help claim the doubles point. In a 5-2 team victory over Wofford, Solarski beat Jack Deveney, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5.
CAA Women’s Tennis Co-Player of the Week
Cornelia Kack, So., Elon (Sigtuna, Sweden)
Kack recorded a 2-0 record in singles and doubles to help Elon earn team wins over Liberty (5-2) and George Washington (6-1). Competing at No. 2 singles, the sophomore defeated Liberty’s Yoanna Radulova, 6-3, 6-0, and GW’s Madison Lee, 6-2, 6-3. At No. 3 doubles, Kack and partner Lisa Kranec reeled off six straight games to take a 6-3 decision against Liberty and followed with another 6-3 win against GW.
CAA Women’s Tennis Co-Player of the Week
Lorie Lemongo, Gr., Drexel (Yaounde, Cameroon)
Lemongo set a new Drexel program record for singles victories with 66 while helping the Dragons battle past conference foe Stony Brook, 4-3. The grad student edged SBU’s Elena Lobo-Corral, 6-4, 3-6 ,6-2 at No. 1 singles. Lemongo also beat FDU’s Anastasia Lim, 7-5, 3-0 ret in a 6-1 team win last Friday.
CAA Men’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Alex Martinez Sanz, Sr., Monmouth (Pamplona, Spain)
Sasha Vysochenko, So., Monmouth (Oceanport, N.J.)
Martinez Sanz and Vysochenko tallied a 2-0 mark at No. 1 doubles as Monmouth improved to 5-0 by rolling past Morgan State (6-1) and Sacred Heart (7-0). The Hawks duo edged MSU’s Roman Filima and Rhajzon Rankins, 7-6 (2) and dominated SHU’s Tomasz Garbacz and Frederick McRae, 6-0. Martinez Sanz and Vysochenko have won three straight matches together.
CAA Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Chandre Boshoff, Jr., Towson (George, South Africa)
Kiersten Tambe, So., Towson (Laurel, Md.)
Boshoff and Tambe posted a 3-0 record at No. 1 doubles for Towson last week. The Tigers’ duo beat Mary Washington’s Addison Felts and Natalie Kim, 6-3, downed Fairfield’s Sophia Harris and Sarah Liu, 6-2, and rolled over Swarthmore’s Erin Lin and Lola Diaz, 6-1. Boshoff and Tambe are 4-1 this season.
