CAA Indoor Track & Field Weekly Awards – Feb. 17, 2026

RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 17, 2026) –Towson junior Baara Stewart, Elon junior Adriana Clarke and Stony Brook freshmen Jamal Joseph and T’Vario Willis earned CAA indoor track and field weekly award recognition for their performances last weekend.
WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Baara Stewart, Towson
Junior | Sprinter | Olney, Md. / Washington Christian Academy
Stewart reset her own program record in the 800m at the Darius Dixon Memorial. The junior’s 2:09.47 pace took second overall at the meet, eclipsing a record set just two weeks prior. Stewart was also a part of a distance-medley relay team that improved the program record by 11 seconds (11:48.91). She has set five school records this season.
WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Adriana Clarke, Elon
Junior | Throws | Yulee, Fl. / Yulee
Clarke set a program record in the weight throw at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational. With a toss of 19.61m (64’ 4”), the junior shattered the Elon record by 0.41m to finish second overall at the meet. Clarke’s throw is the top performance in the CAA this season and sits 56th nationally.
MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jamal Joseph, Stony Brook
Freshman | Sprints | Bridgeport, Conn.
Joseph was one of two Seawolves to win an event at the Giegengack Invitational. The Connecticut native showcased his strong short-distance speed to beat out the field with a 22.54 finish in the 200m. Joseph also competed in the 400m, finishing third with a 50.41 personal-best time.

T’Vario Willis, Stony Brook
Freshman | Jumps | Ridgeview
Willis collected a gold medal in the men’s high jump at the 19th annual Giegengack Invitational on Saturday. The freshman’s 1.95m (6’ 4.75”) leap won the event by 0.1m and ranked inside the top-15 for the conference’s performances this season.
