Junior | Guard | Floral Park, N.Y. / St. Mary
Barbot had a stellar game as she led Charleston to an 88-78 win over Towson on Friday night. In the Cougars’ lone matchup of the week, the junior poured in a season-high 36 points. Shooting 50% from the field and 40% from deep, Barbot reached the 30-point mark for the ninth time in her career. She also grabbed five rebounds and three steals.

Locke made history, becoming the first player since the program’s inception to secure a triple-double in a triple-overtime thriller against Northeastern. Willing her team to an 89-86 victory, the Baltimore native scored 22 points alongside 13 assists and 12 rebounds, all of which were career highs. Nationally, the Aggies’ forward now sits alongside 23 players in the country who have reached the feat, while her assist tally is the 11th most amongst Division I players this campaign. Locke did not have a single turnover across 51 minutes of action.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ashanti Fox, Elon
Freshman | Guard | Vass, N.C. / Union Pines
Fox averaged 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in Elon’s 2-0 weekend. The freshman reached double figures with 12 points in a 68-54 victory over Campbell and led the team with four assists. Fox also chipped in with five rebounds, two steals, and a block. In a 70-57 victory over Northeastern, she had 11 points alongside three rebounds.
