Jordan Ware earned CAA indoor track and field weekly award recognition for their performances last weekend.
WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Baara Stewart, Towson
Junior | Sprinter | Olney, Md. / Washington Christian Academy
Stewart went back-to-back after an impressive showing at the Penn State National Open. The junior reached the podium in two of her three events, setting school records along the way. In the 600m, Stewart clocked a 1:31.87 finish for second place and the Tigers’ record. Competing in 4x400m, the Maryland native’s quartet placed second with a time of 3:40.63 to rank second in program history. Stewart rounded out her day in the 800m, smashing a record set in 1988 with a 2:10.08 finish. She has reset three program records in the past two weeks.

Morgan made her indoor debut last week, winning the women’s high jump at Liberty University. Leaping 1.80m (5’ 10.75”), the 2025 outdoor All-American broke a 12-year program record on route to the 31st best jump in the country. Morgan ranks third in the conference in the event.

Junior | Sprinter | Memphis, Tenn. / Central
Ware won the 200m at Liberty University to move second in the CAA’s performance list this season. The defending CAA indoor champion in the event finished with a time of 21.15 to record the 58th best pace in the nation.

Uriah Harris, William & Mary
Freshman | Throws | Richmond, Va. / Hermitage
Harris improved his personal record in the shot put at the Penn State National Open. Delivering a 17.97m (58’ 11.5”) throw, the first year now ranks third in school history and first amongst freshmen. Harris leads the CAA in the shot put and sits 51st nationally.
