Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Julia Fusco, Stony Brook
Sophomore | Midfielder | Bayport, N.Y.
Fusco amassed nine points in a two-win week, helping Stony Brook take down Rutgers and earn a CAA-opening victory at Monmouth. The Bayport, N.Y., native started with a pair of strikes against the Scarlet Knights to secure an 11-8 victory. She followed up a seven-point effort as the sophomore midfielder scored five times and dished out two assists in the Seawolves’ 18-8 win over Monmouth. Fusco also picked up five ground balls in the conference opener.
Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Mila Milhouse, William & Mary
Freshman | Attacker | North Haven, Conn.
In one of the most dominant outings as a freshman in the country this season, Milhouse helped propel W&M to a 13-7 win against Drexel, as she totaled career highs in goals (7) and points (8), figures that both rank among the program's single-game top-10 lists. Her seven goals are the most in the country by a freshman this season, as well as sitting in a tie for sixth in the Tribe's record book. Milhouse’s eight-point effort also ranks tied for ninth. The freshman attacker was efficient on offense, with seven of her 10 shots finding the back of the net. Milhouse scored W&M's first five goals, helping the Tribe build an early 5-1 advantage. The Tribe’s victory snapped Drexel's eight-game winning streak in the series.
Defensive Player of the Week
Hailey Huebner, Stony Brook
Sophomore | Defender | Bethesda, Md.
Huebner held down the backline in a 2-0 week for Stony Brook, logging six caused turnovers and seven ground balls for the week. The Seawolves surrendered eight goals in each of their wins over Rutgers and Monmouth, led by the efforts of the sophomore defender. She started the week with three GBs and a trio of caused turnovers in the 11-8 win over the Scarlet Knights. Huebner followed up with a similar line of four GBs and three forced miscues in the team’s 18-8 win over the Hawks.
