Camille Hamilton captured CAA Player and Pitcher of the Week honors, while Charleston’s
Bronwyn Conroy secured her third Rookie of the Week accolade on Tuesday.
Player of the Week
Allison Corbin, UNCW
Junior | C/INF | Stevensville, Md.
Corbin helped guide UNCW to a weekend conference sweep of North Carolina A&T with .667/.700/.889 slash line, three runs scored and a trio of RBIs. The junior opened the slate with a 2-for-3 showing at the dish with a double, an RBI and a run scored. The Stevensville, Md., native unloaded a 3-for-3 showing at the dish, scoring twice and driving in the eventual game-winning run on a double to the center field wall on Saturday. Corbin reached base twice in the series finale, slapping a one-run single in the second inning and marking her fourth straight game with at least one hit and one RBI.
Pitcher of the Week
Camille Hamilton, UNCW

Hamilton tossed the first recorded perfect game in UNCW softball history on Friday to open CAA play with a six-inning win over N.C. A&T. The Seahawks’ pitcher became just the second freshman in the country to hurl a perfect game this season, joining Alabama’s Kaitlyn Pallozzi. The Garner, N.C., native struck out a season-high 11 Aggies across six innings of work and tossed just 69 pitches in the winning effort. Hamilton finished the weekend with a 2-0 record, 9.1 scoreless innings of action and 16 total punchouts.
Rookie of the Week
Bronwyn Conroy, Charleston
Freshman | OF | Marietta, Ga.
Conroy helped Charleston pick up a pair of wins over Campbell on the road, tallying three hits, four runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases. After falling in Friday’s series opener, the Marietta, Ga., product slapped an RBI triple to spark a three-run fifth inning that put the Cougars ahead in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Camels. Her speed was on full display in Sunday’s 10-9 victory as Conroy went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and a pair of steals. The freshman outfielder slashed .444/.474/.611 in the six games for Charleston last week.
