Five CAA Men's Swimmers Primed To Compete At NCAA Championship

RICHMOND, Va. (March 25, 2026) – Five CAA men’s swimmers representing three schools will compete at the 2026 NCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship, which will be held March 25-28 at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga.
Earning spots to participate at the NCAA Championship are junior
Theo Andreopoulos and senior
Sebastian Smith of Drexel, sophomore
Joseph Busic and junior
William Carrico of UNCW and junior
Jed Garner of Towson. All five qualified for the NCAA’s after winning gold at the CAA Championship and meeting qualifying standards.
On Thursday, Smith hits the water in the 100 fly, Carrico swims in the 400 individual medley and Garner battles in the 100 breast. In Friday’s competition, Garner is back in the pool in the 200 breast. On Saturday, Carrico returns to action in the 200 IM, Andreopoulos competes in the 200 back and Busic takes part in the 200 fly.
Preliminaries begin at 10 am each morning and all events will be streamed live on ESPN+.
