Player of the Week
Allison Corbin, UNCW
Junior | C/INF | Stevensville, Md.
Corbin was vital to the Seahawks’ success last week, producing a .643/.667/1.071 slash line and seven RBIs in a 4-0 week. Against Hampton, the Stevensville, Md., product went 8-for-11 at the dish, including a 4-for-4 showing in the opening game of the series. She fell a triple shy of the cycle, notching two doubles and a homer, while logging four RBIs and two runs scored. Corbin followed up with back-to-back two-hit efforts, helping complete the sweep with two RBIs and two more tallies in the series finale.

Katelyn Hubley, Campbell
Freshman | P | Henrico, Va.
Hubley was dominant in two starts this weekend, going 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA to lead Campbell to a sweep of CAA foe N.C. A&T. The freshman threw two complete games, recording back-to-back 2-0 shutouts in less than 24 hours. Over 14 innings, she allowed just five hits, with none going for extra bases, and struck out 17 batters. She issued three walks and posted a 0.57 WHIP, while holding the opposition to a .104 batting average. Her 10-strikeout performance Friday matched her season high. The Henrico, Virginia, native earned her 11th and 12th wins of the season, which is tied for second in the CAA.
Co-Pitcher of the Week
Emma Falen, Hofstra
Senior | P | Folsom, Calif.
In three appearances, Falen went 2-0 with 18 strikeouts, 0.00 ERA and a .091 opposing batting average. The Folsom, Calif., native did not allow a single run in her 17.0 innings of work, surrendering just five hits along the way. Both of Falen's wins came in complete-game shutouts over Towson, as the senior ace sat down 15 Tigers on strikes and allowed only three base knocks in the conference series. Falen also racked up three strikeouts in a four-inning relief appearance on Wednesday at Fordham.
Rookie of the Week
Ryleigh Smith, Hofstra
Freshman | C | Bishopville, Md.
Smith unloaded three home runs in Pride’s weekend sweep of Towson, slashing .417/.417/1.167 with six RBIs. The freshman catcher also tallied three runs for Hofstra. Smith notched her second career multi-home run game, adding three RBIs in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Tigers. The Bishopville, Md., native capped off the weekend with a three-run dinger in the Pride's 5-0 victory, completing the team’s fourth conference sweep of the season.
