UNCW's Snowden, Towson's Parrau Receive Top CAA Women's Swimming & Diving Awards

Cameron Snowden repeated as the CAA Women's Swimmer of the Year, while Towson senior
Shannon Parrau was selected as the CAA Women's Diver of the Year in a vote by the league's head coaches.
Joining Snowden and Parrau as major award winners in women's swimming and diving were William & Mary freshman

Nate Kellogg was chosen as the CAA Women's Swimming Coach of the Year for the second straight season and Towson’s
Sergey Meshcherskiy received Women’s Diving Coach of the Year accolades.
Snowden is the first back-to-back recipient of the CAA Women’s Swimmer of the Year award since 2016-17. The senior was named the Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet at the CAA Championship after earning individual gold medals in the 50 free (22.39), 100 fly (52.06) and 100 free (48.88). She added first-place finishes in the 200 medley and 400 medley relays and a second-place effort in the 400 free relay. Snowden qualified for the NCAA Championship in the 100 fly for the second year in a row, placing 38
th overall (52.37). She holds the CAA all-time record in the 100 fly (51.57).
Parrau is Towson’s first-ever winner of the CAA Women’s Diver of the Year award. The senior was chosen as the Outstanding Diver of the Meet at the CAA Championship after sweeping both boards. She claimed gold on the 1-meter board with a score of 280.45 and finished first in the 3-meter competition with a score of 295.85. Parrau competed at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championship and finished 26
th in the 1-meter event and 30
th in the 3-meter event.
Lehman is William & Mary’s first Rookie Swimmer of the Year since 2023. The freshman placed third in the 200 free (1:49.00), fourth in the 500 free (4:51.31) and 11
th in the 100 free (50.90) at the CAA Championship. She was also a member of the Tribe’s 800 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay teams that claimed gold, with the 400 team setting a CAA all-time record (3:17.39).
Tysinger is UNCW’s third Rookie Swimmer of the Year in the past five seasons. The freshman finished fourth in the 50 free (22.74), fourth in the 100 free (49.76) and fifth in the 200 free (1:49.50) at the CAA Championship. She was also a member of the Seahawks’ 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams that captured gold and 400 free relay squad that took silver. The 200 medley relay team set a CAA all-time record (1:37.83).
Wilhelm accounted for 45 points at the CAA Championship. The freshman placed fifth on the 1-meter board with a score of 237.30 and finished ninth in the 3-meter competition with a score of 261.65 after winning the consolation round.
Kellogg earned CAA Women’s Swimming Coach of the Year honors for the second year in a row and fourth time in the past six years. The Tribe captured their first conference championship since 2022 with a program-record 1,647 points. William & Mary finished the meet with 32 medals, including seven gold.
Meshcherskiy received his first CAA Diving Coach of the Year award. Under his guidance, Parrau claimed gold on both boards at the CAA Championship. In addition, the Tigers’ Lara Booth Alam and Lily Bermudez placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 3-meter competition.
