RICHMOND, Va. – Charleston swept the 2026 CAA Women’s Golf awards as Molly Hardwick (Player of the Year), Carys Fennessy (Rookie of the Year) and Jamie Futrell (Coach of the Year) earned recognition as voted on by the league’s coaches.

Hardwick picked up the top golf honor after being the league’s best-ranked golfer (No. 101), according to Clipp’d. She earned medalist honors at the Edisto Island Invitational in October to secure one of her four Women’s Golfer of the Week honors. The senior from Nashville, Tenn., also racked up five top-10 finishes this season, including a sixth-place mark at the 2026 CAA Women’s Golf Championship.

Fennessy picked up a unanimous selection for Rookie of the Year honors after a stellar first campaign with the Cougars. The freshman was ranked first among freshmen and third overall in the CAA this season after turning in a trio of top-five finishes, including a fourth-place showing at last week’s conference tournament.

Cougars’ Head Coach Futrell earned his seventh accolade as the league’s top coach, going back-to-back after securing the recognition in 2025. CofC’s longtime leader helped his program earn its fourth CAA conference title in the last five years and bumped the championship total to seven. Futrell guided a pair of All-CAA First Team honorees and major award winners in Hardwick and Fennessy, while seeing Adrian Anderson and Emilie von Finckenstein garner Second Team honors.

UNCW Head Coach Cindy Ho saw three of her student-athletes receive all-conference selections, led by 2026 CAA Women’s Golf Individual Champion and First Team honoree Victoria Levy. The redshirt senior battled to break even at the three-day event held at The Reserve Clubs at St. James to claim medalist honors. Levy was also tabbed No. 2 among conference competitors, according to Clipp’d. Teammates Hannah Altman and Minouche Rooijmans landed on the league’s Second Team following stellar performances throughout the 2025-26 campaign.

North Carolina A&T’s Ekaterina Prokhorova was locked in under the direction of first-year Head Coach Mesha Levister and became the first Lady Aggie to capture a spot on the All-CAA First Team. The Moscow, Russia native led the conference with six Golfer of the Week honors to go with seven-straight finishes in the top five, including a trio of medalist honors.

Elon’s Ashley Lafontaine was also selected to the All-CAA First Team in Head Coach Chris Dockrill’s final season with the program. She became the first Phoenix women’s golfer to land on the conference’s top team since Annabelle Ackroyd in 2023.

Campbell’s Fanni Grönlund found herself among the league’s best golfers this season under the guidance of Head Coach John Crooks, earning a Second Team nod following her second-straight top-10 finish at the CAA Women’s Golf Championship.
