RICHMOND, Va. – The Charleston women’s golf team and UNCW’s Victoria Levy are set to open action in the 2026 NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals. Both postseason events will run from Monday, May 11, through Wednesday, May 13.
The Cougars were selected as the No. 9 seed in the 12-team regional at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Ky. Head Coach Jamie Futrell will watch his 55th-ranked squad go up against Arkansas, Auburn, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Houston, Virginia Tech, Kansas State, Indiana, Xavier, Western Kentucky and Murray State.
The Cougars overcame a two-stroke deficit to claim their league-record seventh CAA Championship, marking their second straight conference title and fourth in the last five seasons. CofC will be led by CAA Player of the Year Molly Hardwick, who is also ranked No. 101 in the country, according to Clipp’d. The Nashville, Tenn., native is one of four Cougars to make their return to the NCAA Regionals, as Adrian Anderson makes her third NCAA appearance, and Emilie von Finckenstein and Emilia von Glahn are set to make their second. CAA Rookie of the Year Carys Fennessy will look to build on her success in her first NCAA Regional.
UNCW’s Levy will head to the UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C., after becoming the second-consecutive Seahawk and securing the program’s seventh individual title with an even 216 for the 2026 CAA Women’s Golf Championship. The Lausanne, Switzerland native has picked up a trio of top-three finishes, including a pair of wins this season. She joined teammate Hannah Altman (2025), as well as Phu Khine (2019), Lyberty Anderson (2016, ’17), Carmen Perez Narbon (2009) and Ashley Tait (2007) in the team’s history book as medalist honorees.
