Player of the Week
Alyssa Myint, Towson
Senior | SS | Virginia Beach, Va.
Myint closed out the regular season in style after extending her starting streak at shortstop to 102 consecutive games for Towson. The senior went an impressive 10-for-12 over the Tigers’ three-game series victory against Charleston. Two doubles and four RBIs highlighted her .833/.833/1.000 slash line. The Virginia Beach, Va., product started the weekend with a 4-for-4 showing at the dish with a pair of doubles and three RBIs. She also recorded the 100th base knock of her career in a 3-for-4 day on Friday, before unloading another three-hit performance in the season finale.
Pitcher of the Week
Lynsie Herman, UNCW
Sophomore | P | Gambrills, Md.
Herman dazzled in three relief appearances for UNCW to lock in the No. 2 seed in the 2026 CAA Softball Championship. Helping the Seahawks take two of three games at home against Campbell, the sophomore went 1-0 with a save and a 0.00 ERA, surrendering just five hits and striking out four in nine innings of work. She gave UNCW a chance in the team’s 2-0 setback with three scoreless frames. Herman picked up the win in four blank innings of work, surrendering just one hit along the way. The left-hander retired two batters on strikes in another pair of scoreless innings on Saturday to pick up her third save of the year.
Rookie of the Week
Madison Steppe, Hofstra
Freshman | P | Charlottesville, Va.
Steppe only appeared once against Monmouth, but it tossed a gem to help Hofstra secure the second-most conference wins (21) in program history and lock up the No. 1 seed in the 2026 CAA Softball Championship. The Charlottesville, Va., native pitched all seven innings and allowed just one run on two hits and two walks in a 3-1 win over the Hawks.
