2026-27 CAA CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE

RICHMOND, Va. (June 16, 2026) – The CAA has announced the dates and sites for conference championships during the 2026-27 season.

The conference will conduct championships in 23 sports, with 14 titles decided on campus and nine at neutral locations.

The schedule gets off to a running start on Friday, October 30 as Hofstra University serves as host for the CAA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships.

The four-team CAA Field Hockey Championship will be held at Drexel University for the second time in three years with semifinal games on Wednesday, November 4 and the champion crowned on Friday, November 6.

The six-team CAA Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships will be held on the same dates in 2026. Action starts on Thursday, November 5 with the No. 2 seed in each division hosting the No. 3 seed. The winners advance to the site of the division champions for semifinal games on Sunday, November 8. The men’s and women’s championship matches will be played at the field of the highest remaining seeds on Saturday, November 14.

Campbell University will be the host of the CAA Volleyball Championship for the first time. The six-team tournament opens on Thursday, November 19 and concludes on Saturday, November 21.

The Virginia Beach Sports Center will be the site of the CAA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships for the second time in three years on February 21-22, 2027.

The CAA Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships return to the Hampton (Va.) Aquaplex for the fifth consecutive year. The four-day event opens on February 24 and concludes on February 27.

CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. will feature 10 consecutive days of exciting basketball action. The CAA Men’s Basketball Championship takes place from Friday, March 5 to Tuesday, March 9, followed by the CAA Women’s Basketball Championship from Wednesday, March 10 to Sunday, March 14.

For the 13th time, the Reserve Club at St. James in Southport, N.C. will be the home of the CAA Women’s Golf Championship from April 16-18 for 54 holes of action.

The Jimmy Powell Tennis Center on the campus of Elon University serves as the site for the six-team CAA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships from Friday, April 23 to Sunday, April 25. The venue has hosted seven women’s and six men’s conference tournaments since 2016.

The CAA Men’s Golf Championship returns to Dataw Island Golf Club in St. Helena Island, S.C. for the sixth time in the past seven years, with the 54-hole event being held from April 25-27.

Four-time defending champion Stony Brook will host the four-team CAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship, which takes place on May 6 and May 8.

The four-team CAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship also takes place on May 6 and May 8 at the site of the regular-season champion.

The CAA Softball Championship will be held at the Softball Stadium at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. for the first time. The six-team double-elimination tournament begins on Wednesday, May 12 and concludes on Saturday, May 15.

Zable Stadium on the campus of William & Mary will be the site for the CAA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the seventh time. Nine men’s teams and 12 women’s teams will be in action on May 14-15.

For the ninth time in 10 years, the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. will serve as the site of the CAA Rowing Championship. Seven teams will compete for the title on May 14-15.

Wrapping up the 2026-27 season is the CAA Baseball Championship, which will take place at Campbell’s Jim Perry Stadium for the first time The six-team double-elimination tournament is set for May 26-29.
