CAA Announces 2026-27 Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. (July 16, 2026) – The CAA has announced its women’s basketball conference schedule for the 2026-27 season.
Each team will play 18 conference games over a 10-week stretch using a Friday/Sunday format, apart from the final week of the regular season (Thursday/Saturday). All contests can be seen on FloCollege, with some games also airing on local linear television affiliates.
League play tips off on New Year’s Day with 12 of the league’s 13 teams taking the court, including a clash between longtime HBCU rivals Hampton and North Carolina A&T. Defending CAA champion Charleston, which begins its first season under new coach Amanda Butler, opens conference action on Sunday, January 3 with a home game versus Monmouth, while Hofstra and Stony Brook renew their storied rivalry on the same day.
On Friday, January 8, Campbell, under new head coach Ali Jaques, faces perennial frontrunner Drexel, and Elon opens its home conference slate against 2025 champion William & Mary. The schedule on Friday, January 15 includes UNCW playing host to Northeastern and Towson entertaining Campbell.
All 13 CAA teams conclude the season at the 2027 CAA Women’s Basketball Championship, which will be held March 10-14, 2027 at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. Seven different schools have captured the title over the past eight years.
