Three CAA Women’s Soccer Student-Athletes Selected to IWSOC/United Soccer Coaches National Watch Lists

Eliza Teplow were named to national preseason watch lists, as announced by the Intercollegiate Women’s Soccer Organization for Coaches (IWSOC) and United Soccer Coaches ahead of the upcoming women’s soccer season.
The Cougars’ Antonio and the Seahawks’ Longwell both earned a spot on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List on Monday, while the Huskies’ Teplow was tabbed to the Goalkeepers to Watch List.
Antonio produced a stellar junior campaign for Charleston in 2025, boasting 14 points on five goals and four assists in 17 appearances. The North Ridgeville, Ohio native notched a brace on the road at Monmouth on Sept. 18, posting one of her two game-winning goals with a 12
th-minute rip. Antonio earned a Preseason CAA Honorable Mention by the league’s 12 coaches heading into the team’s season opener on Wednesday against Southern Utah at 7 p.m.
Longwell will look to build off her dominant first season at UNCW, one that saw her secure the program’s first CAA Attacking Player of the Year honors. The Moon Township, Pa., native unloaded 18 points as a redshirt sophomore in 2025, but saw much of her scoring come in league action. Longwell rattled off four straight conference matches with at least one goal, including a brace against Hampton on Oct. 5, before finishing league play with six goals and three assists. Longwell was also recognized with a spot on the Preseason All-CAA Team ahead of the team’s opener against Appalachian State on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The reigning CAA Goalkeeper of the Year, Teplow, was the league’s lone netminder to earn a spot on the United Soccer Coaches’ Goalkeepers to Watch List entering the 2026 campaign. The Wellesley, Mass., product turned away a league-leading 6.1 shots per game, while boasting a .829 save percentage (2nd in CAA) for the Huskies last season. The Preseason All-CAA selection came on stronger in conference play, watching her numbers elevate to 7.6 saves per contest and a .872 save percentage, both of which paced the league. Teplow also logged a pair of 11-save road efforts in conference play against William & Mary (Oct. 16) and Monmouth (Oct. 26)
The MAC Hermann Trophy is presented annually to the Division I National Players of the Year as voted by Division I College Coaches at the end of the regular season. The 2026 recipients, for both men’s and women’s soccer, will be announced on January 8, 2027, in St. Louis, Mo.
