CAA Field Hockey Weekly Awards - Sept. 14, 2026

RICHMOND, Va. -- Monmouth’s Milla Frye was named the CAA Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, while Fairfield’s Georgia McDade earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. Monmouth freshman Maja Schröder rounded out the weekly awards, earning Rookie of the Week recognition on Monday.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Milla Frye, Monmouth
Jr. | M | Ratingen, Germany
Frye set a career high with four goals and tied a program record with nine points in the Hawks' 8-1 victory over Wagner on Sunday. The Ratingen, Germany native added an assist to lead Monmouth to its third straight win.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Georgia McDade, Fairfield
So. | GK | Bruton, England
McDade tallied 14 saves in a 1-1 week for the Stags. The sophomore goalkeeper stopped six shots against No. 18 Yale before posting a career-best eight saves in a 4-2 win over Brown. She finished the weekend with a .778 save percentage and a 2.00 goals-against average.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Maja Schröder, Monmouth

Schröder recorded three points across two wins, scoring her first career goal in a 4-2 victory over Temple. Her goal gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead before she added two assists for a career-high three-point performance. Schröder then contributed to an 8-1 win over Wagner, helping the Hawks hold the Seahawks to just six shots on goal.
