Tallulah Miller picked up CAA Women’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, while UNCW freshman
Kamrey Watkins notched Rookie of the Week recognition on Monday.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Paige Seitz, William & Mary
Senior | Midfielder | Toms River, N.J.
Seitz scored twice to help William & Mary earn a 5-1 road victory over American in its lone match of the week. The senior scored the Tribe’s first goal in the 35th minute, answering American’s opening tally just 31 seconds later to even the match at 1-1. She struck again in the 78th minute to give W&M a 4-1 advantage, helping in a four-goal second half. Seitz finished the match with two goals on four shots, including three on goal, as the Tribe scored five unanswered goals to secure its first victory of the season and to close nonconference play. The brace marked the first two goals of the season for Seitz.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tallulah Miller, Monmouth
Senior | Goalkeeper | Mechanicsville, Va.
Miller picked up her second straight CAA Defensive Player of the Week honor after registering a season-high seven saves in Monmouth's 2-0 victory over Columbia. The senior keeper logged her third consecutive clean sheet on Sunday, marking the first time since 2024 that Monmouth has notched three straight shutouts.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Kamrey Watkins, UNCW
Freshman | Forward | Richlands, N.C.
Watkins continues to stand out on the Seahawks' front line, being a key part of the Seahawks' 2-0 win against Charlotte on the road. The Richlands, N.C., product offered an assist to Hailey Longwell on the first goal of the match and flipped the script, scoring off a feed from Longwell in the 60th minute to seal the win. Watkins followed up with a shot on goal in a 0-0 tie against Coastal Carolina.
