RICHMOND, Va. (September 15, 2026) –Elon freshman Brynne Gordon and William & Mary junior Molly Weithman shared CAA Women’s Runner of the Week accolades, while William & Mary senior Hayes Trapp repeated as the CAA Men’s Runner of the Week.
WOMEN’S CO-RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Brynne Gordon, Elon
Freshman | Christchurch, New Zealand
Gordon helped lead Elon to the team title at the Queen City Invite by claiming individual runner-up honors with a time of 17:23.8 over the 5K course. The performance was the eighth-fastest 5K time in program history as the Phoenix won their second straight team event.

Molly Weithman, William & Mary
Junior | Vienna, Va.
Weithman posted a 13
th-place individual finish against a strong field at the Virginia Invitational, setting a personal-best time of 17:20.9 on the 5K course. The junior was the Tribe’s top finisher for the second straight meet as she only trailed runners from ACC foes Virginia and North Carolina.
MEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Trapp repeats as Runner of the Week following an impressive sixth-place individual finish at the Virginia Invitational, completing the 6K course in a personal-best time of 17:55.2. The senior led the Tribe for the second straight race and helped W&M to a second-place team finish ahead of ACC host Virginia.

th-place finish at Penn State’s Spiked Shoe Classic with a 6K time of 21:00. The Hawks posted their fastest 6K average in program history (21:28.38) and finished ahead of Big Ten team Maryland…North Carolina A&T’s
Deavion Deleon captured the individual title at the Blue Bear XC Invitational, completing the 3K event in a time of 10:57.9…UNCW sophomore
Elizabeth Dokulil was the individual winner at the Wilmington Beach Blast, completing the 5K course in a time of 18:56 to shave nearly a minute off her previous personal best. The Seahawks were also the team champions in the event.

Griffin Wald claimed his second individual title at the Wilmington Beach Blast, posting a winning time of 15:55 on the 5K course. His effort led the Seahawks to the team championship…North Carolina A&T sophomore
Demonte Peterson was the individual champion at the Blue Bear XC Invitational with a personal-best time of 17:25 in the 5K race. The Aggies also took home the team championship…Elon graduate
Evan Taylor finished 18
th among 260 runners at the Queen City Invite with an 8K time of 25:26.
