Four CAA Football Student-Athletes Selected As Campbell Trophy Semifinalists

RICHMOND, Va. (September 23, 2026) – Four CAA Football student-athletes have been chosen as semifinalists for the prestigious William V. Campbell Trophy, as announced by the National Football Foundation on Wednesday morning.
Recognized as semifinalists from CAA Football were Campbell fifth-year defensive lineman
Ebenezer Bedada, UNH graduate running back
Myles Thomason, Stony Brook redshirt senior linebacker
Anthony Ferrelli and Towson graduate offensive lineman
Joden Nelson.
The Campbell Trophy recognizes an individual as the absolute best scholar-athlete in the nation for combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership. A record 206 student-athletes were selected as semifinalists across all divisions, with the group having a combined grade point average of 3.64. Of the 206 semifinalists, 45 were from the FCS level.
The NFF will announce 12-16 finalists on October 21, and each finalist will receive a postgraduate scholarship of $18,000. The Campbell Trophy recipient, which will be announced in Las Vegas on December 8, will have their scholarship increased to $25,000.
