Sacred Heart 20, UNH 13

Quarterback Poochie Snyder accounted for 162 yards of offense, including a 2-yard TD run in the third quarter that proved to be the difference, as Sacred Heart (1-3, 1-2 CAA) held off UNH (1-4, 0-2 CAA), 20-13.
Defenses dominated on a rainy and windy afternoon as SHU finished with 338 yards and UNH tallied just 262. After the teams exchanged first-quarter field goals, the Pioneers went on top on John Michalski’s 1-yard scoring run. The Wildcats pulled even when Myles Thomason broke loose on a 49-yard TD burst to knot the game at 10-10 midway through the second quarter. SHU got a 30-yard Ryan Bocklet field goal just before halftime and then upped the margin to 10 on Snyder’s scoring run. A 23-yard Lucas Glassburn field goal brought UNH within seven late in the third period, but the Pioneers’ defense stopped the Wildcats on 4
th-and-1 with 2:56 to go to seal the win. Chuck Webb ran for 85 yards for SHU and Luke Hackett recorded 11 tackles defensively. UNH rushed for 181 yards with Joquez Smith picking up 107 yards and Thomason adding 74. Trevor Barry made 16 tackles for the Wildcats defense and Cohen Cook had 15 tackles and a fumble recovery.
Elon 43, Maine 17

Kamerin McDowell-Moore rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns and Dylan Magazu provided TD’s on the ground and in the air as Elon (4-1, 2-1 CAA) pulled away for a 43-17 triumph over Maine (1-4, 1-1 CAA).
The Phoenix held a narrow 5-3 advantage midway through the second quarter when Magazu broke free down the sideline on a 57-yard TD reception. Elon used another big play to go up 19-3 at the half as McDowell-Moore sprinted to the end zone from 55 yards out. A 30-yard scoring run from Rashawn Marshall on its first drive of the second half brought Maine within 19-10, but it was all Elon after that. McDowell-Moore (6 yards) and Magazu (1 yard) had TD runs and TJ Crews connected with Kenaz McMillian on a 39-yard scoring pass. Elon quarterback Elijah Guttman threw for 179 yards, while Derek Hite had 10 stops defensively. The Phoenix also blocked two punts in the game. For Maine, Marshall ran for 105 yards on 14 carries and Jeremiah McGill contributed eight stops, 2.0 TFL’s and an interception.
North Carolina A&T 22, Rhode Island 18

North Carolina A&T’s defense forced four turnovers, highlighted by a 69-yard scoop-and-score by Tyrek Brown, as the Aggies (1-4, 1-1 CAA) knocked off No. 19 Rhode Island (2-3, 1-2 CAA), 22-18.
Up 3-0 early in the second quarter, A&T forced a URI fumble and turned it into points on a 2-yard TD run from Kevin White. The Rams got on the board with a field goal, but the Aggies responded with field goals of 31 and 21 yards from Asher Holland to take a 15-3 advantage into halftime. A strip sack by A&T’s Donavan Frederick led to Brown’s fumble return that made it 22-3 early in the third period. Rhode Island rallied behind reserve quarterback Alex McClelland, who guided the Rams on back-to-back scoring drives, getting a 2-yard TD run from Gabe Winowich and 13-yard TD run from Terrence Campbell to trim the deficit to 22-18 with 12:40 to play. However, A&T’s defense came up big again with an interception by Kamari Blankumsee with 5:01 to go. The Aggies got 68 rushing yards from JT Smith and 67 from Shamique Blizzard, while Frederick had a team-high 13 tackles, 3.0 TFL's and a sack. McClelland threw for 118 yards and Campbell had 85 yards on the ground.for URI, while Rohan Davy made seven stops with two TFL’s.
Campbell 44, Hampton 20

Kamden Sixkiller passed for 308 yards and five touchdowns and added 73 yards rushing as No. 22 Campbell (4-1, 2-0 CAA) used a big second half to top Hampton (1-4, 0-2 CAA).
The Camels took a 6-3 first-quarter lead on a 28-yard TD reception by Connor Adair, but Hampton went back on top on Gracen Goldsmith’s 7-yard scoring run. Chinua Ezeibgo’s 34-yard TD grab put the Camels back ahead but the Pirates tied it 13-13 at the half following a 19-yard Brett Starling field goal. Campbell broke the game open with 31 unanswered points in the third quarter as Sixkiller fired TD passes to De’Von Thomas (29 yards), Christian Campbell (6 yards) and Ezeibgo (64 yards). Hampton added a fourth-quarter TD catch by Isaiah Smith. Campbell finished with 537 yards of offense while its defense forced three turnovers. For Hampton, Tre’Von Taylor passed for 259 yards and a TD and ran for 35, while Caimon Mathis made 10 tackles.
Stony Brook 31, Fordham 16

CJ Hester rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns as Stony Brook (3-2, 1-0 CAA) earned a 31-16 road victory over Fordham. Quinn Boyd was 20-of-26 passing for 209 yards and a TD in wet conditions.
The teams traded touchdowns for much of the first half with the Seawolves getting a 5-yard TD run from Hester and a 15-yard scoring reception from Rayden Aphayvong to go up 14-13. Hester capped an 80-yard drive with a 7-yard scoring run that put SBU ahead 21-13 at the half. A third-quarter field goal brought the Rams within five, but Stony Brook got a 30-yard Michael Mannino field goal and a 11-yard TD run from Hester with 8:00 to go to pull away. Stony Brook’s defense held Fordham to 314 yards and forced two turnovers. Anthony Ferrelli tallied a team-best 11 tackles and Khalid Bueno recorded three sacks.
Monmouth 31, Dartmouth 28

Sky Sholder’s 25-yard field goal with 1:09 remaining lifted Monmouth (3-2, 2-0 CAA) to a 31-28 road win at Dartmouth. Quarterback Frankie Weaver completed 33-of-42 passes for a season-high 313 yards and two TD’s for the Hawks.
Monmouth built a 21-7 advantage midway through the second quarter, getting a 1-yard scoring run from Elijah Jennings and scoring receptions by Christian Harrison (17 yards) and Tra Neal (23 yards). Dartmouth reeled off 21 straight points to go up by seven heading into the fourth quarter, but the Hawks responded. A 4-yard TD run by Kenny Smith, Jr. tied the game with 12:56 remaining before a 13-play, 56-yard drive set up the game-winning kick by Sholder. Smith, Jr. finished with 93 yards on the ground and Harrison had nine receptions for 79 yards. Ryan Russo paced the MU defense with 11 tackles and a forced fumble.
Princeton 22, UAlbany 0

UAlbany (2-3, 1-1 CAA) outgained Princeton by 23 yards, but failed to score in a 22-0 setback to the Tigers.
The game was scoreless until midway through the second quarter when Princeton got a 5-yard TD catch from Joey Wassler and then took advantage of a Great Danes’ turnover that set up a 14-yard scoring run from Kai Honda. Honda tacked on another scoring run on the opening drive of the second half to go up 19-0. Kai Colon passed for 111 yards and Tavahri Groves made six catches for 81 yards to led the UAlbany offense. Drew Buckley recorded a team-best nine tackles.
Delaware State 33, Towson 28

Towson (0-5, 0-1 CAA) overcame a 13-point halftime deficit to take a late lead, but a Delaware State touchdown with 42 seconds left gave the Hornets a 33-28 win. Quarterback Andrew Indorf passed for 247 yards and three touchdowns, with Aaron Enterline making five catches for 113 yards and 2 TD’s.
Indorf connected with Enterline on TD passes of 74 yards and 2 yards to give Towson a 14-10 advantage early in the second quarter, but DSU reeled off 17 straight points to go up 27-14 at halftime. The Tigers climbed back on a 4-yard TD catch by Cleveland Charlton in the third quarter and a 1-yard scoring run by Xavier Pugh on a direct snap with 4:57 to play that put Towson on top, 28-27. However, DSU drove 90 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown in the final minute. Kemarrion Battles ran for 94 yards for Towson and TJ Sands had seven tackles.
