CAA SAAC
The purpose of the CAA SAAC is to represent the needs, interests, concerns, and welfare of the Association's student-athletes and to make recommendations to the CAA Senior Woman Administrators Committee. All NCAA Division I conferences have created a conference SAAC in order to strengthen the communication between the campus and national committees. Through increased communication and networking, the conference SAAC hopes to better represent the views of all student-athletes.
CAA SAAC Mission Statement
Enhance the total student-athlete experience by protecting student-athlete well being and nurturing a positive student-athlete image. Provide an avenue of communication in which student-athletes and administrators discuss issues related to legislation, community service, and student-athlete welfare.
About the CAA SAAC
The CAA SAAC was established in 1998 with the adoption of Proposal No. 98-99. This proposal mandated that all Division I conferences have a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. The CAA SAAC consists of twenty members, a male and female student-athlete from each of our ten member institutions. The Committee has one in-person meeting a year. This is meeting is usually in the fall, and is hosted by one of our institutions.
