Miles McQuiggan joined the CAA staff in July 2021 as Assistant Commissioner for Communications. McQuiggan serves as the contact for men's basketball, women's soccer, volleyball, women's lacrosse, softball, and men's and women's golf, in addition to contributing to the conference's social media and website content efforts.
McQuiggan returns to a conference office setting after most recently leading the athletic communications efforts at Saint Francis, where he oversaw a restructuring of the office's staffing and strategy, launched the department's first mobile app, and hired its first graphic designer.
Before his time in Loretto, McQuiggan spent five years in assistant director of communications roles at Bryant and Stony Brook and began his career with graduate intern positions at Wagner, Middle Tennessee, and the American Athletic Conference. McQuiggan got his start in college athletics as an undergraduate at Quinnipiac, where he served in a variety of roles in the Bobcats' athletic communications office before earning a bachelor of arts in journalism in 2012.
A native of Westerly, Rhode Island, he now resides in Southside Richmond with his wife, Eileen, an alumna of a CAA member institution. He is a member of College Sports Communicators and serves on the organization's Professional Development & Education Committee in addition to committee work with USA Lacrosse and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
