RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 31, 2024) – The first CAA Championships get underway, the final week of men’s soccer and field hockey season, and a look ahead to basketball season highlight the turn of the calendar from October to November.

Cross Country
The 2024 CAA Cross Country Championships get underway on Friday morning at Elon University. The men’s 8K race starts at 10 a.m., followed by the women’s 6K race at 11 a.m. Click

Women’s Soccer
The 2024 CAA Women’s Soccer Championship kicks off Thursday afternoon, with Delaware facing Hofstra at Monmouth and Charleston squaring off with Elon at Stony Brook. A preview of that tournament is available

Men’s Soccer
Three teams in, three to go. With Monmouth having the bye and already clinching a spot in the postseason, every game matters in a jam-packed Saturday afternoon. William & Mary takes on Stony Brook (1 p.m. FloFC), and Drexel hosts Charleston (1 p.m. FloFC) before the night games kick off. UNCW travels north to take on Northeastern (6 p.m. FloFC), No. 24 Hofstra welcomes Delaware to Hempstead (7 p.m. FloFC), and Elon closes out the evening against Campbell (7 p.m.)
Field Hockey
With one spot left in the CAA Championship, Friday night's action will prove to be pivotal in the race for the postseason. Hofstra closes out its season against Northeastern (2 p.m.) as William & Mary subsequently travels to Monmouth (2 p.m.). Undefeated No. 19 Drexel closes out the CAA regular season, facing Delaware (5 p.m.). All games are streaming on FloLive.
Volleyball
A wild weekend in CAA Volleyball brings us two-thirds of the way through the conference slate with four teams tied at 9-3, one right behind at 8-4, and two others at .500 or better in league play.
The weekend starts Friday with two of those teams at 9-3 beginning their series, as Hofstra heads to William & Mary and Charleston hosts Hampton. UNCW and Campbell also begin their two-match set on Friday.
Some pivotal showdowns of teams in the top eight of the CAA standings begin on Saturday, as Stony Brook (7-5) visits Delaware (9-3), Elon (5-7) heads to N.C. A&T (8-4), and Northeastern (6-6) goes to Towson (9-3).
Swimming & Diving
There is conference action on Saturday as Delaware hosts Towson at 11 a.m. in a meet that can be seen on FloCollege. Also on Saturday, Northeastern is home against UConn at 1p.m. on FloCollege and Monmouth visits Iona.
