CAA Football Countdown To Kickoff - Towson

Our CAA Football Countdown To Kickoff rolls on with a look at the Towson Tigers. Towson closed last season with three straight victories to finish with its first seven-win campaign (7-5) since 2019 and its first winning year in CAA play (5-3) since 2018.
Offensively, Towson welcomes back a deep and experienced group of receivers led by John Dunmore (42 rec, 619 yds, 5 TD's) and Jaceon Doss (29 rec, 450 yds, 3 TD's). Quarterback Sean Brown passed for 1,974 yards and 12 TD's in his first year as a starter and the Tigers have several regulars back on the offensive line, including three-year starter Dan Volpe.
Towson should be solid defensively, especially in the secondary with the return of preseason All-CAA selections Myles Brodie (44 tackles, 2 int, 9 PBU) and Xavier Terry (82 tackles, 1 int, 5 PBU). Linebacker Rodney Roane Jr. contributed 58 tackles and 4.0 sacks in 2024.
